2006

Norris & Norris PLC recovered the highest dollar amounts ever for our clients in 2006.

Highlights include:

  • Confidential settlements for family survivors of two elderly women who died as a result of the 2003 Nashville nursing home fire. 
  • Confidential settlement for survivors of elderly woman who died as a result of a fatal assault by another resident.
  • Trial judgment for $180,000 in favor of elderly, disabled man deprived of his share of his wife's estate by coercion, exploitation, and undue influence by other family members.
  • Concluded final settlement of Tennessee’s public higher education desegregation case on behalf of group of intervening plaintiffs.
  • Settlement for $280,000 for woman injured in minor property damage car accident.
